DJ VIP has had music in his life from an early age. He got early influences from his mother and uncle who were dancers and would listen and create new moves while listening to pirate radio stations.
After he finished his schooling and many years of listening to house pirate stations around in the early nineties. DJ VIP started messing around with decks at the tender age of 16, with his long time friend and now Co- producer DC, and was hooked! After a couple months homing his skills playing US House & Garage, he branched out and started playing at house parties and Clubs in London, leaving his mark with chopping and Impact mixing.
After about 2 years deejaying up and down the country VIP & DC tried their hands at production in order to help and keep the 4 to the floor movement alive in the UK. However, they found that their style of hard hitting 4x4 drum patterns with smooth, deep, soulful, tech vibes was not a good fit, so started producing outside of the brackets and limitations and stuck to were their heart was.
In 2006 VIP & long time friend DC formed (4Motion Music) part of the now 4Motion Brand. 4Motion consists of a Music Production Duo, Community & Events planning team, a top Photography and a Graphic Designs company.
DJ VIP and 4Motion Music has evolved there unique style of samples and remixes that fans associate with them. In turn they have started to prick up ears within the soulful and deep house underground scene trying out there productions in residences such as, I Am Soulful House, @ (THE DEN), ‘sHs’ (Secret House Society) and ‘So Soulful’ Events monthly & Golden Soul @(Mint Bar) Weekly.
